●Why hello there.●
I suppose I shall tell you about myself, yes? Well, it's a miracle that you're reading this, because first and foremost I have the "I think people read my journals but there's probably actually no one reading them" disease. If you know me irl I can be loud and silly. I act cheerful a lot of the time and I don't know how to handle it when people are depressed or crying or whatever. That's bad, isn't it? But if you don't know me I'm really quiet and shy. In other words, I'm only loud around my friends. Over the Internet, I'm like this, whatever "this" is. I should also note that I have horrible time management skills and am an awful procrastinator. I don't want to call myself a "gamer;" I'm more of a watered-down version. I'm also 17 years old, and a fujoshi, otaku, cosplayer, and hikikomori, and I'm learning Japanese via My Japanese Coach. I guess you get the point.
You want to know what I like? No? I'm telling you anyway. I like anime and manga, if that wasn't obvious - and yaoi, of course. I also like drawing, even though I haven't drawn an actual picture that wasn't an assignment in a long time. Same with reading. I like music and my tastes are varied, but I mostly like rock and J-pop/anime music. My favorite series at the moment, if you haven't noticed, is Axis Powers Hetalia. My favorite game series is Ace Attorney, closely followed by Pokemon, which never gets old. I'm also absolutely in love with The World Ends With You because it's amazing. Figures that it's the closest thing to anime America can get, right? I also like Italian and Japanese food, summer, Harry Potter, and I have a passing interest in world history (surprise, surprise). Speaking of the world, I love to travel, and someday I want to travel all over the world. Oh yeah, and cosplay. I love cosplaying. When I travel the world, I'm totally gonna cosplay.
As for what I dislike, there's quite a list of that too. If it's popular, I probably dislike it. And I'm not talking about anime or the wonderful world on the Internet. I mean in real life, I hate Abercrombie and Uggs and Twilight and all that overpriced, overrated preppy crap. I hate Twilight especially; it's just a woman's stupid Mary Sue fantasy fanfiction. By the way, I hate it when people judge a series based on the fanbase and not giving the actual thing a chance... so before you ask, yes, I did read all four books. For the record, I liked New Moon the best because 60% of it was Edward-free. Oh yeah. And my friends mean the world to me, so one thing I especially hate is picking favorites. That's just wrong. I mean, if you have a favorite friend, that's fine, just don't go telling me. Moving along, I also hate spoiled kids - working as a counselor does that to you - and bugs. Icky.
My journal is full of rants about work, school, and life. The name comes from my long-lost blog that I had a few years ago. My journal is currently not friends-only because I figure if you're not my friend, you don't really care about what I write in the first place. I'd like to write fanfiction someday. I'd also like to post icons I make, but I get lazy about making graphics. Which is why I'm using this profile layout here, and until I can be bothered to make one myself, this one stays.
